Scholarship:

Habib University offers unmatched scholarships to totally or partially support students, so they can follow their four-year degree programme. This is done to ensure equal opportunities for all prospective students, regardless of their religious, ethnic, racial, gender, or socioeconomic background. complete education.

A candidate’s chance to obtain one of their renewable scholarships in appreciation for their outstanding academic achievements will depend on their admissions score. Depending on your merit score, the entry scholarship can range from 20% to 100%.

Up to 50% of the beneficiaries’ tuition, lab, and/or studio expenses are covered by these grants.

These are fully funded scholarships for extraordinarily talented and high-achieving students. Being a Distinguished Scholar at Habib University is one of the highest honours for entering students.

Habib University does not just give scholarships based on applicants’ high school grades at the time of enrollment. The following are crucial elements in determining a student’s eligibility for a scholarship:

How are Scholarships Determined?

  1. Grades earned in secondary and postsecondary institutions
  2. Performance on the SAT or entrance exam at Habib University.
  3. Score on the writing and communicating skills.
  4. Participation in a variety of activities, including sports, poetry, performing arts, artistic arts, etc., as well as a strong desire to give back to the community.
  5. Considering both oneself and society

Annual Renewal of Scholarships

Under the following circumstances, all scholarships are automatically renewed each semester for a total of four years of study:

  • Unless the University has granted permission for part-time enrolment, the student continues to be enrolled as a full-time student.
  • For the YOHSIN Scholarship, the student must maintain a cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 3.0; for the Habib Excellence Scholarship, it must be 3.0; and for the Habib Merit Scholarship, it must be 2.75.
  • The student has good conduct and hasn’t broken any rules.

Maintaining the Required CGPA

They have faith in each student’s potential and provide them with a variety of supports as they pursue their educational goals. Students can get help from the writing center and EHSAS center at Habib University to improve their academic performance. Faculty advisers offer personalized advice to students in a range of academic fields.

Scholarships won’t be instantly revoked from students who fall short of the acceptable CGPA. A probationary semester will be given to them so they can enhance their performance and reach the required CGPA.

Payment Schedule

  • When submitting an entrance application, the application fee is paid.
  • When your acceptance to the University is officially confirmed, you must pay the enrollment fee. If a Round 1 candidate chooses to enrol in Round 2, they must pay the Round 2 charge rather than the Round 1 price.
  • Along with the enrollment fee, a security deposit is due.
  • In the beginning of the autumn and spring semesters, registration fees are paid.
  • According to the schedules provided, tuition, studio, and lab costs are paid in four-year payments.
  • For students who do not receive any scholarships or financial aid, prepayment waivers are available.
    1 Year – Habib University provides a 5% prepayment discount to students who decide to pay their annual tuition in advance.
  • 4 years – If you decide to pay your tuition in advance for 4 years, you will not only receive a 5% prepayment discount, but you will also be exempt from paying tuition costs for the degree programme at the going rate. The length of the degree programme won’t be extended.

Each accepted student at Habib University receives a unique financial aid package that is based on their needs and the general environment in which they live.

Students have the option to simultaneously apply for financial aid and scholarships. The amount of financial aid given is determined on the students’ financial necessity. Each accepted student at Habib University receives a unique financial aid package that is based on their needs and the general environment in which they live.

  • Enrolment as a full-time student unless part-time enrollment has been authorised by the university.
  • Maintaining a CGPA of 2.33 or above during each semester.
  • Maintain moral character and abide by the University’s code of conduct
  • The family’s financial status remains as it was judged at the time of admittance.

Facilitation for Student Loan

Students and their families have the option of receiving financial aid through student loans as part of our financial aid programme. Loans are governed by the policies and procedures of the institution providing the loan. When determining a student’s fee package at the time of acceptance, parents and students are informed of the details.

Student Employment

Although it isn’t formally included in a student’s financial aid package, student employment gives them the chance to earn money through our student employment programme in order to help defray the expense of attending Habib University. Participants in the programme work on campus for a predetermined amount of time and are given an hourly wage.

If they perform well in the first semester, students are given job opportunities starting in their second semester. Students must maintain a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.33 in order to remain employed.
