King Abdul Aziz International Airport (KAIA) is advising passengers to arrive at least 4 hours before their departure time. This is due to the high number of travelers during the peak Umrah season.
Passengers, including Umrah pilgrims and those traveling on chartered flights, should report to the airport no less than four and no more than six hours before their flight’s departure time. This will ensure the speedy completion of travel procedures and avoid any unnecessary delays.
The KAIA administration stresses the importance of following this directive to avoid any inconvenience. Large groups of passengers are passing through the airport during this season, and delays are expected. Arriving early will help ensure a smoother travel experience.
This directive is in place to accommodate the high frequency of air traffic at the airport due to the continued return of Umrah pilgrims to their countries.
