India has issued visas to 82 Pakistani pilgrims for the annual Urs of the revered Sufi saint, Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya, in Delhi. These visas were granted under the Pakistan-India protocol framework, allowing the pilgrims to participate in the five-day celebrations from October 19 to 25.
The group of pilgrims will travel to Delhi via the Wagah Border to attend this important religious event, which commemorates the life and teachings of Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya, a prominent figure in South Asian Sufism.
The Urs is an occasion that draws devotees from across the region, fostering cultural and religious ties between Pakistan and India.
