The 14th Brand of the Year Awards ceremony took place in Islamabad yesterday, celebrating the achievements of Pakistan’s top brands. Organized by the Brands Foundation, this prestigious event marked the organization’s first foray into northern Pakistan, focusing on Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The ceremony highlighted the critical role of branding in the country’s economic development, with Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan serving as the Chief Guest.

Categories included Nation’s Pride, Icon Brands of Pakistan, Brand Scientist, Best CEO, Innovative Brand, Fastest Growing Brand, and Emerging Brands of the Year. These awards celebrate the dedication of Pakistani businesses that are making significant contributions to the country’s economy through innovation and strategic brand building.

Leaders from the business community echoed the Governor’s call for a brand-driven economy. Nasir Mansoor Qureshi, President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI), highlighted the importance of promoting a Brands Empowerment Economy in Pakistan, modeled on global successes. Zaki Aijaz, Zonal Chairman of the FPCCI, emphasized the potential for the Brand of the Year Awards to elevate Pakistani brands to the international stage, increasing visibility and market recognition.
