Alex Hartley, a former England international who was part of the 2017 World Cup-winning team, is soon to become a specialist spin bowling coach for the Pakistan Super League team Multan Sultans.
This is a historic move as she, along with former Ireland player Catherine Dalton, will be the first female coaches in the history of the PSL.
The 30-year-old, who was a member of England’s World Cup-winning team in 2017 and retired from cricket in August, will continue her work as a broadcaster on the BBC’s Test Match Special and as a co-host of the No Balls Podcast with England seam bowler Kate Cross.
