From this year, pilgrims will not get Zamzam water for free, but they will have to buy it. According to the sources, every pilgrim will get only 5 liters of Zamzam water on reaching back to Pakistan and will have to pay 1114 rupees per person which is 15 Saudi Riyals for Zamzam water.
Sources of the Ministry of Religious Affairs say that 896,000 liters of Zamzam water will be provided to Pakistani pilgrims. According to the sources, the price of Zamzam water is being charged in advance from 1 lakh 79 thousand 210 pilgrims.
The Saudi Hajj Affairs Committee, on the other hand, stated that applications for residency permits could be submitted up until the end of the current month. “Safety measures have been given priority to allot accommodations for the pilgrims,”
